Poetry for Kids & Young Adults (K-12th)

Every-other Thursday from 11-11:40 EST

  • Fun, creative poetry instruction! We will write/create together and share

  • Modifications for all ages

  • Have access to Zoom (webcam/audio), paper, pencils, and/or coloring materials

  • Accessibility: while I don't currently have captioning, I share all poems and prompts in writing

  • No-Zoom option: contact me via this website, and I'll send you a link to the lesson plans

Poetry for Adults

Wednesdays from 1-1:40 EST

  • We discuss published poetry, share prompts, and workshop poems

  • This is a casual workshop. For formal instruction, I recommend The Loft or 24PearlStreet

  • Accessibility: while I don't currently have captioning, I share all poems and prompts in writing

  • No-Zoom option: contact me via this website, and I'll send you the link to the prompts

Note: These workshops are free during the pandemic, and I'm hoping they help inspire creativity and briefly alleviate childcare duties! If you happen to have the financial stability to pay to take an online poetry workshop or make a donation to a local arts group, your help supports the many artists struggling right now.
