  • We will write/create together and share

  • No-Zoom option: contact me via this website, and I'll send you a link to the lesson plans

Poetry for Adults

Wednesdays from 2-2:40 EST

  • The workshop agenda will alternate weekly:

    • 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of month: prompt-based writing and/or freewriting

    • 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of month: sharing with feedback. You can bring your own poem, your poem from the previous week's prompt, or just hang out and talk poetry

  • No sign-up--drop in any week!

  • This is a casual workshop. If you'd like a formal workshop, check out online workshops at organizations like The Loft or 24PearlStreet

  • No-Zoom option: contact me via this website, and I'll send you the link to the prompts

Note: These workshops are free, and I'm hoping they help inspire creativity and briefly alleviate childcare duties! While I currently have the privilege to offer these mini-workshops for free during this unusual situation, many poets rely on workshop revenue to pay the bills. If you happen to have the financial stability to pay to take an online poetry workshop or make a donation to a local arts group, your help supports the many artists struggling right now.
